Frank Body Anti-Drama Face Mask

f2
One of my favorite things to do after a shower is relax in a face mask. I’ve been on the hunt to find one that works well with my skin. I have sensitive, dry, congested, acne-prone skin, so when it comes to skincare, I have to be very selective. The Frank Body Anti-Drama Face Mask hits the mark. It’s a charcoal based mask that feels like a lightweight gel. I like that it doesn’t dry down stiff like a charcoal clay mask. This leaves my skin feeling clean and hydrated unlike clay masks that leave your face feeling dry. I leave it on for 15 minutes, wash off with warm water and then apply my current moisturizer the Fourth Ray Beauty “The Lightweight” moisturizer. This combo has been perfect because both products make my face feel hydrated without clogging my pores.

You can purchase the Frank Body Anti-Drama Face Mask in store and online at Ulta or online at FrankBody.com.

My Current Favorite Brow Product

My makeup changes on a day to day basis depending if I’m going to work or going out. I don’t have a set routine, but one product I never leave the house without applying, is a brow product. I have always been a pomade kind of gal because I have naturally full brows that don’t need much shaping or defining. I always thought that a pencil product was better for people with thinner, unshapely brows who need a little extra help creating brows.

One morning before work, instead of reaching for my usual ABH dip brow pomade, I decided to try my Winky Lux Uni-Brow Universal pencil I had gotten in a Boxycharm a while back. This product has a similar tip to the ABH Brow Definer. It has a thicker, angular tip instead of a tiny pencil tip. This style works much better for me because I can quickly cover more space. The smaller tip pencils are better for people who need to create brows and draw lines.

I have been using the Winky Lux pencil regularly for two weeks and I love it. I don’t know if I will ever go back to a pomade. One thing I noticed is that my brows seem thicker than ever! It seems like the product promoted hair growth which seems impossible but just something I noticed.

I have the limited edition packaging version but I will link the product in it’s normal packaging that is available for purchase.

Beauty Blogger Tag 2019

I was scrolling through my reader section and I came across LifeMakeupStyle’s “blogger tag” post. I love reading these tags so I figured I’d do it myself.

1. What is the one product you could not go without?
Mascara! Specifically Essence Lash Princess Sculpted Volume Mascara. I cannot wear makeup without mascara. I can go without everything else, but if I’m doing my makeup, I cannot leave the house without mascara.

2. Favorite Make Up Brand
Hourglass is my favorite. The quality of their products is incredible and I love that they promote being cruelty free.

I believe my first makeup purchase was the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. I was so excited to get this. It was the beginning of my makeup obsession.

1. Hourglass
2. Becca
3. Too Faced

Top tip would be to not wear too much makeup. I think makeup looks so much better when it’s not overdone. I prefer a natural look with a fresh, glowy face.

8. Why did you start blogging?
I have always had a presence online ever since I was a teen. I had a Myspace blog, then a Tumblr and then moved to an actual website. I love sharing my passion for beauty and fashion with others and connecting with followers from all around the world. I also wanted to bring awareness to cruelty free beauty and its importance.

9. Random Fact About Yourself?
I am obsessed with British culture. I love watching British movies/tv shows and practicing my accents.

10. How much do you spend on beauty products every month?
Depends on the month. I have been on a low buy, so I haven’t spent a lot of money recently. I would say about $50.

11. Describe your dream make up haul
There are so many makeup brands that you can only get online. I would love to go through all of those sites and get all the products I’ve been wanting to try.

12. How often do you wash your make up brushes?

Ooo I am horrible at this. I probably wash my brushes every three-four months… don’t kill me.

13. If you could only choose to do one before leaving the house, would you do your hair or your makeup?
Makeup 100%. My hair looks awful everyday. It’s thin and short so I’ve totally given up on it.

15. What advice would you give to a beauty blogger just starting out?
I definitely think that blogging isn’t as popular as it used to be. Unless you have a really “pretty” site with content that sets you apart from the rest, it’s difficult to gain a following. As long as you are having fun and expressing your ideas, just keep at it.

Dynamic Duo

Farmacy is one of my favorite skincare brands, if not my absolute favorite. I have a good variety of their products, but two that I find work so well together are the Skin Dew and Honey Drop.

I first start out by spraying my face with the Skin Dew and then moisturizing with the Honey Drop. Both products make my dry skin feel incredibly hydrated and moisturized without breaking me out. The Honey Drop is very light-weight and almost feels like a gel/cream hybrid. It doesn’t leave a thick, cream residue on my face with I like about it.

If you haven’t tried Farmacy’s products, I highly recommend them. The products are natural made with clean ingredients. You can get them at Sephora or on Farmacy’s website.

COVERGIRL is Now Cruelty Free!

maxresdefaultIMG_7319-e1529190865103

I never thought I would see the day where a huge drug store beauty brand like COVERGIRL would announce their cruelty free status and Leaping Bunny certification. This is such an incredible step for the beauty industry. With a brand as popular and influential as COVERGIRL, they now have the power to bring more awareness to cruelty free beauty. I hope that this inspires other popular drug store brands like L’Oreal to make the change.

What do you think about COVERGIRL’S change? Will you support COVERGIRL?
