Frank Body Anti-Drama Face Mask

f2
One of my favorite things to do after a shower is relax in a face mask. I’ve been on the hunt to find one that works well with my skin. I have sensitive, dry, congested, acne-prone skin, so when it comes to skincare, I have to be very selective. The Frank Body Anti-Drama Face Mask hits the mark. It’s a charcoal based mask that feels like a lightweight gel. I like that it doesn’t dry down stiff like a charcoal clay mask. This leaves my skin feeling clean and hydrated unlike clay masks that leave your face feeling dry. I leave it on for 15 minutes, wash off with warm water and then apply my current moisturizer the Fourth Ray Beauty “The Lightweight” moisturizer. This combo has been perfect because both products make my face feel hydrated without clogging my pores.

You can purchase the Frank Body Anti-Drama Face Mask in store and online at Ulta or online at FrankBody.com.

Cover Fx Monochromatic Bronzer Duo

bronzer1

If you know me, then you know that bronzers are my favorite makeup product. I love a good bronzed glow year round. I especially love shimmery and satin bronzers so when Cover Fx recently launched their monochromatic blush and bronzer duos, I knew I had to pick one up.

They released several blush shades and two bronzer shades. I picked up the lighter bronzer in the shade Sunkissed. The left side is a satin bronzer and the right side is a stunning, shimmery bronzer. I’ve used it twice now and each time I take my brush and tap into both sides. I have no tried each side by itself but I probably wouldn’t wear them individually anyway.

The formula blends beautifully and doesn’t look red on my face. It’s a nice neutral bronzer which is ideal for me because I have Rosacea on my cheeks. I try to stay away from very warm, redish bronzers since I already have a lot of redness on my cheeks.

I would definitely recommend this bronzer and I really want to try one of the blushes now that I know I love the bronzer.

Did you pick one of these up or want to? What do you think?

My Current Favorite Brow Product

My makeup changes on a day to day basis depending if I’m going to work or going out. I don’t have a set routine, but one product I never leave the house without applying, is a brow product. I have always been a pomade kind of gal because I have naturally full brows that don’t need much shaping or defining. I always thought that a pencil product was better for people with thinner, unshapely brows who need a little extra help creating brows.

One morning before work, instead of reaching for my usual ABH dip brow pomade, I decided to try my Winky Lux Uni-Brow Universal pencil I had gotten in a Boxycharm a while back. This product has a similar tip to the ABH Brow Definer. It has a thicker, angular tip instead of a tiny pencil tip. This style works much better for me because I can quickly cover more space. The smaller tip pencils are better for people who need to create brows and draw lines.

I have been using the Winky Lux pencil regularly for two weeks and I love it. I don’t know if I will ever go back to a pomade. One thing I noticed is that my brows seem thicker than ever! It seems like the product promoted hair growth which seems impossible but just something I noticed.

I have the limited edition packaging version but I will link the product in it’s normal packaging that is available for purchase.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm

Cleansing balms are my favorite product for removing makeup. I find that they are most effective and super quick. I have a few holy grail favorites, but I am always in the market to try a new one.

I stopped by Ulta after work in need of a new balm. I saw that the Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm received good reviews online, so I picked up the sample size to try.

After giving it a go tonight, I have to say I really like it. It went on kind of greasy and thick at first which worried me. I thought it would leave a greasy residue as some cleansing balms do, but this washed off completely clean leaving no residue. I have to use it a few more times before I can decide if the full size is worth the $64 price tag but so far, so good!

Spring Makeup Wishlist

I felt like this entire winter I have been in a makeup rut. I barley bought any makeup and my day to day looks were minimal to no makeup. Now that it’s March and technically kind of, almost Spring, I am more inspired and excited to get back out in the makeup game and pick up these beauties listed below.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk
charlotte_tilbury_lips_lipstick_matte_revolution_pillow_talk
CT Matte Revolution lipsticks are one of my favorite formulas. I have the shade Bond Girl and I’ve been wanting to get another. Pillow Talk is the most popular shade so I feel like that’s a perfect next purchase.

Ofra Cosmetics Rodeo Drive Highlighter

Although this highlighter is not new by any means, it’s a cult favorite that has been raved about online for years. I have always wanted to try it but never got around to it. I think this Spring I am finally going to purchase.

Jouer Cosmetics Bouquet D’Amour Six Shade Blush Palette
JOCO0238F_1_L
Jouer is a brand that I have been so intrigued by. I recently bought one of their highlighters and I love it. I have heard amazing things about their blushes and this palette looks perfect for Spring and Summer.

Hourglass Caution™ Extreme Lash Mascara

I am always on the hunt for an amazing mascara. I have tried so many and still only have one absolute favorite. I heard great things about the Hourglass Caution mascara and Hourglass is one of my favorite beauty brands.

BH Cosmetics Brillance Bronzer

2537911

Bronzers are my favorite makeup product, so I am always eager to expand my collection. I find that some of my favorite bronzers are my drugstore or inexpensive ones. BH Cosmetics is an affordable brand and their Brillance Bronzer seems like the exact satin finish that I like.

BECCA x Khloé Kardashian & Malika Haqq Glow Letters

I have to admit that the packaging on the Glow Letters is what first drew me in. A few brands have done these “rock” type highlighters like Physicians Formula and Guerlain. I have never tried anything like this, so all the more I’m curious.

Four Favorite Foundation Sticks

fs

Sticks are my favorite when it comes to foundation. I love how easy they are to apply and the formulas work very well on my skin. However, I’ve found that most beauty influencers don’t care for foundation sticks. Don’t let that deter you. You have to try one of my four favorites and see for yourself.

1. Makeup Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation
I discovered this one over the summer and it quickly became one of my favorite foundations of all time. It’s super affordable and the shade range is great. The finish is a dewy finish but not too dewy where you will look greasy through out the day.

2. Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation
I started using this foundation about a month ago. I was looking to try a new stick foundation and I had heard good reviews. At first I wasn’t sure because it is matte, but after using it for a month, I love it. It is a light coverage, matte foundation that is buildable and looks natural on your skin. I have been into a “no foundation” foundation look lately and this one is perfect.

3. Hourglass Vanish™ Seamless Finish Foundation Stick
I’ve mentioned this foundation many times on my blog. It is my holy grail foundation and even though it is on the pricier side, it is well worth it. The finish is a satin finish that gives you full coverage without looking cakey or thick. There is something magical about this foundation. I highly recommend it.

4. Tarte Clay Stick Foundation
This was one of the first foundations I tried that made me love stick foundations. The finish is similar to the Makeup Revolution where it’s not super dewy, but it gives you a healthy glow without looking greasy.

Have you tried a stick foundation? Which are your favorites?
