Item I’m Eyeing: Out With A Bang Coat

I got the Free People November catalog in the mail yesterday and the theme was adorable. Every page featured a model with a dog. I came across this multi fabric, multi patterned coat that immediately caught my eye. My style is overall minimalist and edgy, but recently I’ve been into a more boho, eclectic style. This coat is pricy, but it’s like a piece of art. It is definitely a style inspiration.

Summer Jewelry Wish List

I have been super into wearing jewelry this summer. I’ve discovered beautiful brands on instagram that are inspiring me to be more bold and fun with my jewelry choices. When shopping for jewelry, I normally look for what feels comfortable on since I am easily bothered by something scratching or poking me. Also, I look for practicality and what is going to match with a variety of outfits. Here’s some jewelry I love from two brands I discovered on instagram.

Astrid & Miyu Mystic Star Ear Cuff in Rose Gold

Astrid & Miyu is one of my favorite jewelry brands currently. They make the best ear cuffs. I already have a gold one from them and I’ve been wanting another because I love how they look stacked. This cuff is from their new collection and I think the rose gold would look great next to my gold cuff. I like mixing finishes.

Astrid & Miyu Mystic Opal Charm Hoops in Gold

These hoops are also from their new collection. I would like them in gold instead of rose gold because I tend to wear more gold hoop earrings. I also love the dangling opal stone details. Opal is my birthstone so anything with opal always catches my eye.

Adina’s Jewels Rainbow Ring

Adina’s Jewels is another beautiful brand with on trend jewelry. Rainbow jewelry has been a big trend this summer and I’ve already bought their smaller jeweled rainbow ring. I love this version with larger jewels. I think stacking the two would be perfect.

Adina’s Jewels Tortoise Disc Earrings

Another jewelry trend i’ve been loving is tortoise earrings. Disclaimer, this is not made from real tortoise shell, it is just the name of the print. I really love the shape of these. They are not your conventional hoops, they are a bit more geometric and abstract.

Adina’s Jewels Bolt Star Anklet

I love anklets, especially in the summer. They give you a boho vibe at the beach and you can even wear one with sneakers.

What summer jewelry trends do you love? Let me know in the comments below.

Match It!

Fashion and beauty go hand in hand. My favorite way to get inspiration for a makeup look is from fashion. Whether it’s from the color of the fabric, the print or the texture, it all inspires makeup looks. Here’s some fashion to beauty inspiration.

March Favorites

FARMACY Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm with Echinacea GreenEnvy™

Cleansing balms are my favorite product to remove makeup. I have tried many, and one that has made it on my top list is the Green Clean by Farmacy. This product is so refreshing on my face. It smells like lemon-lime and it doesn’t leave an oily residue after washing it off.

Models Own Sculpt & Glow Highlighter Powder in Golden Sand
I had heard about this highlighter from Jamie Paige on Youtube and when she swatched it in her video, I knew I had to get this highlight. This is one of the most blinding highlights I have ever tried. You need to try this, that’s all I can say.

Physicians Formula Healthy Lip Liquid Lipstick in Vitamin Beet

There is something so unique about this liquid lipstick formula. First of all, they smell so fresh and they feel super lightweight. They do not dry down completely matte. Instead, they give your lips a healthy, plump look and it doesn’t accentuate texture or lines on your lips. I know a lot of us are over the super dry, matte lips, so this is a great new alternative for spring!

Natasha Denona Mini Sunset Eyeshadow Palette

This palette has been receiving many mixed reviews and I must admit, I don’t think it is a good representation of Natasha Denona shadows. However, I actually found myself reaching for this a lot in March. The matte shadows are actually very good. The colors are right up my alley and I like that I can get a complete look from this palette. The metallics only seem to show up when I use my finger, but I don’t mind. The size also attracts me because it’s so travel friendly.

Butter London Double Decker Lashes Mascara

I got this mascara in my March Boxycharm and it has quickly become a favorite. My favorite kinds of mascara are the ones with bushy bristles like this one and the Better than Sex by Too Faced. This immediately makes my lashes, bold, dark and thick. It is a little clumpy but honestly, I kind of like that look.

Zara Faux Suede Biker JacketScreen Shot 2018-04-05 at 2.25.07 PM

A go-to coat I bought in March was this faux suede biker jacket from Zara. I am obsessed with pastel pink and biker jackets are one of my favorite style jackets. It was still a little to cold to wear this in March but I can’t wait to start getting more use out of it in April.

What did you love in March?
