Let’s Talk About Sweat

Going cruelty-free was one of the most rewarding decisions I have ever made. It’s been easy finding cruelty-free makeup and skincare, but what has been difficult, is finding deodorant. If you go to Walmart or your local drugstore, the majority of deodorant brands like Dove, Speed Stick, Mitchum, Secret and Soft & Dri, all test on animals.

It has taken some extra time and research, but I have found some cruelty-free deodorants at the drug store that actually work better than the non cruelty-free brands.

Schmidts Deodorant Bergamot + Lime Deodorant Stick

This is a new find and has quickly become my all time favorite deodorant. It smells incredible without being overpowering. I am a stress sweater and this keeps me dry and odorless all day, especially at work when the pressure is on.

Tom’s of Maine Naturally Dry Deodorant, Natural Powder

This goes on dry which I love. I was never a fan of wet deodorants because that seems to defeat the purpose. The smell is nice floral scent that doesn’t smell like baby powder which I hate. This is definitely my second favorite!

CVS Cool Moisturizing Antiperspirant & Deodorant, Cucumber & Green Tea Scent

Before I went cruelty-free, I used to love the Dove cucumber deodorant. When I found out that CVS had a cruelty-free dupe, I had to try it. The CVS one is just as good as the Dove, if not better. The smell is identical and so is the effectiveness. CVS also does dupes for the Dove body washes. So why not get the more affordable and cruelty-free option?

Ban Invisible Solid Antiperspirant Deodorant Sweet Simplicity

I tried Ban a while ago when I was in college and I didn’t even know it was cruelty-free. I remember loving it, especially the fresh, fruity smell!

Which cruelty-free deodorant do you love or which one do you want to try?
